An excellent visual representation of the biblical story This film dramatises faithfully the biblical story of Abraham the father of faith. Although omitting the 'E' source passages (i.e.Abimilech) it is otherwise fairly faithful to the Bible. Of course there is more characterisation and this means the human side of the story comes over very strongly in this film. It would make a good teaching tool for Bible study and catechetical groups.
