What does a godly woman look like in the twenty-first century? In a time and culture where roles are continuing to change, lines of demarcation are blurring and fashion is often unisex, there is a pressing need for today’s Daughters of Eve to do the three things this group Lenten course sets out to achieve:
To look at the challenges, opportunities and temptations of each of the ‘five ages of woman’
To reflect on the experience of being one of those five ages
To see what the Bible has to say to help all Daughters of Eve live out their spiritual potential
Each of the five sessions (with an optional sixth) uses prayer, scripture, discussion and action (!) to reflect upon a different age period in the cycle of a woman’s life to bring a greater insight into their own lives and their place within the communities of which they are a part.
Many of the issues raised in this book will relate equally to men!
