Veteran rockers DeGarmo & Key were pioneers for today's Christian music rock scene. Formed in 1977, DeGarmo & Key later became the first Christian band to have a video played on MTV. Through the years they have been nominated for 27 Dove Awards and 9 Grammy Awards. They were also the first rock group nominated for a Dove Award in the Artist of the Year category.
