Top Theology
I guess many of us struggle with our concept of the trinity. Tim Chester's book is one of the best I have read on the subject and is readable and accessible to all. The book is divided into three sections ; Biblical foundations, historical developments and practical implications. The book starts from the premise that the Trinity is language in which Christian truth is spoken, therefore we must grasp it properly. I have found it immensely helpful in grappling with a complex issue. Chapter 4 on the trinity and the cross is worth the price of the book alone for the way it unpacks Mark 15. In short an excellent book that every Christian would profit from reading.
