In the book of Revelation, Jesus is called "the last Adam" and the "Alpha and Omega". Should these names make a difference to how we look at the first three chapters of Genesis?
Dr Fesko saya that it does. Without seeing Christ and the end of days, we cannot understand the first days.
He says that the way to interpret Genesis is to do "in the manner presented in teh new Testament. More specifically, ones must interpret Genesis 1-3 in the light of Christ and Eschatology."
This important portion of scripture is explained from a holistic Christological viewpoint, one that is consistent throughout scripture.
