"This was one of my first paintings that I really involved Jesus in. Although I know Jesus is living in me, for the first time I treated him like a friend and asked him what he would like to see in the painting. Each part of the picture has been carfully carried out. I love knowing that Jesus is watching over us all the time, and even when it seems we are in a dead place, his wings cover us. The figure does not realistically represent Jesus' wings (as in the bible they are refering to his prayer shall 'wings' meaning the bottom corners) but its just the way jesus showed me the picture."
